Dave was born and raised in the southern African country of Zimbabwe and joined the Royal Air Force in England in 1963. While based on the Island of Malta in the Mediterranean he met and married his wife Alice. In 1972 they were selected for the British/United States Military Exchange Program, and arrived on Whidbey Island in the State of Washington where life dramatically changed for them. In 1973 they were saved and immediately realized a call into the ministry in the United States.
After returning to the United Kingdom and a miraculous release from the Air Force, they finally returned to the States in 1980, and took up residence in Spokane, Washington, where they have served the Lord faithfully ever since. They are now US citizens, and the parents of two children Mark and Cherelle, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
